Six Months with Colter

Colt turned six months (half a year?!) old last weekend! He is getting so big and smart and figuring out so many things around him. He has mastered sitting up by himself and is trying so hard to crawl. If you know yoga, he’s got a pretty good “downward facing dog” too haha! We just started feeding him solid foods as well over the weekend! We are following the Weston A Price Foundation (WAPF) guidelines and the book Super Nutrition for Babies – his first foods were homemade chicken stock and soft-boiled egg yolk. He loves the egg yolk so much! Oh what a whole new world… it’s going to be so fun to try more foods with him.

Colt is growing like a weed and is so big compared to babies his age! He’s wearing a range of 9-12 month clothes and 12+ month pjs; he’s still in size 4 diapers but he is starting to lean out as he grows taller (instead of wider). ;) Deven and I were so blessed to dedicate his life to God on Mother’s Day this year – talk about the perfect gift for this new momma. We got to take Colt up to the mountains this weekend for a night of camping – he loves the outdoors and is such an easy camper! I can’t wait for more trips this summer, including a few up to the Sierras.

Your mom and dad love you so much, Colt! It’s an honor to watch you grow.
