Last week we got to spend an incredible couple of days on Lake Powell on a houseboat! What an amazing place! We joined Deven’s brother and his girlfriend and one of their best friends and his family for 4 nights / 5 days – relaxing, exploring and soaking up the warm sun and the crisp water. It was a long 12-hour drive (with stops) each way for Colt, but we all survived; we even took the scenic route through Zion on the drive there – added it to our list of camping destinations! Once on the lake we took the boats about 40 miles northeast – it’s unreal how big Lake Powell is. Deven and I were overwhelmed with it’s grandeur and beauty. We found ourselves daydreaming the whole trip about how God designed and created so much uniqueness and detail. Can’t wait to go back someday when our kids are old enough to enjoy it more!
