I was so overjoyed to photograph Hudson with his mom and dad for his 1-year photo shoot! I’m so honored that Hannah and Mike have chosen me to photograph their engagement photos, maternity, Hudson’s newborn photos and now their first year as a family of three! It’s so special to be able to document couples as they fall in love, start families and then fall in love all over again with their precious kiddos. Happy birthday Hudson!

I had the privilege of doing a mentor session with photographer/blogger Kelly Halsch last month, and this adorable family was kind enough to model for us for the shooting portion! I’ve photographed their engagement, wedding and newborn photos of their sweet twin boys over the years, so it was a joy to capture them at this stage as well. I can’t even imagine the amount of work it must be to have two little ones the exact same age! My sweetheart Boone turned three months old at the end of August! He laughs up a storm at mommy, daddy and brother – who loves to tickle his belly and bear hug him most waking moments of the day. :) He is sleeping through the night like a champ! Usually about 10-12 hours each night. We are officially in 3-6 month clothes, but even those are looking a little short on my tall, lanky boy! Boone absolutely lights up our days with his smiles and his easy-going spirit. He is truly such an easy baby and I feel so blessed. He is responding more and more to Colt and Colt is loving the interaction with his little bro – I’m so excited for the day when they can play together! We just got back from a week-long trip to Yosemite and Mammoth and the kids did great tent-camping and traveling. It was so nice to be unplugged and enjoy a much slower pace during the trip. Can’t wait to share some film images from the trip once they are back from the lab! Happy three months, Boone-bear! We love you!
