Our darling Boone (or Boone-bear as his mommy likes to call him) turned two months old last week! He is such a happy baby! He is always smiling and cooing at us and I love watching his personality develop. He is the easiest baby – thank goodness because it is not easy having a toddler! I fear we’re going to be packing up these 0-3 month clothes here pretty soon (we already said goodbye to size 1 diapers too!). This boy is a healthy chunk just like his brother was. :) His hair is getting lighter by the day – I’m so curious to see if he will end up a toehead like Colt. We are thoroughly enjoying every moment we have with our boys – our lives look a lot different than they did a few years ago but no one can prepare you for how much you will truly love being a parent. Love you, Boone!

I had the privilege of photographing Samantha & Thomas’ engagement photos last month before their wedding just a few weeks ago. We went up to the local mountains and there were beautiful flowers in bloom and the air was just a little more crisp. Congratulations, Sam & Tom! Your wedding photos are coming next!

I loved getting to photograph Elyse, a long-time friend of mine, with her soon-to-be-hubby Bryce during their recent visit to San Diego last month. The local mountains are just beautiful this time of year. I am so looking forward to their wedding in just a couple of months!

Our sweet Boone turned one month old last week! The time is already flying by. I was worried about how hard it would be having two little ones under two years old, but he has been a very easy newborn. I guess they mostly sleep at this age anyway! Just last week he has started smiling at us when you talk to him and look at him! It’s heart-melting. This strong little guy weighed in at 11 lbs at his 1-month check-up and seems longer than ever – the 3-month clothes are starting to look short on him! Not to mention he rolled over at 3 weeks old! I was shocked – I don’t recall Colt rolling over until 3 or 4 months old! His hair is turning a darling strawberry -blonde and we think he’s starting to look a little more like his big bro too, who absolutely adores him. We took Boone on his first camping trip up to the Sierras last weekend and he was such a champ there too! Deven and I are so blessed by these two boys. Boone – happy 1-month birthday little buddy! We love watching you grow!
