It is so, so special to me when I have the privilege to photograph old friends! I have known Natalie and Isaac since high school and had the joy of photographing Natalie’s sister’s wedding two years ago. I am so thrilled that Natalie and Isaac found their soul mates in each other after all these years of being just friends. I can’t wait for their wedding this summer with Couture Events!

We took a fun little road trip to Joshua Tree a few weeks ago for Kayla Barker‘s workshop – hubby and I got to be on the other side of the camera and play models for her! We had such a great time. We took the boys out there too and made a little road trip out of it, taking the long way home and enjoying the desert scenery. Deven and I got engaged in Joshua Tree almost eight years ago if you can believe it! It was fun to be back in a place that is so special to us. :)

I have had the privilege of documenting this sweet couple as their family has grown over the last few years. From their first maternity session and newborn session with their little boy Ranger to this session with their new baby girl Arrow and several annual sessions in between, they have been a joy to photograph! Meghan always styles their family to the nines and I’m always on the hunt for a new and fun location to photograph them in. This olive grove in San Diego proved a complimentary backdrop to their fall wardrobe. Aren’t they just the cutest?
